My bag arrived in reasonable time - under 2 weeks from UK to USA - as expected. The bag is beautifully understated with soft leather, a lovely smooth strap that will not snag delicate knits but wide enough to feel comfortable on the shoulder even when carrying a heavy tablet and a smooth running zipper. It is carefully finished - no loose threads or crooked stitching and was exceedingly well packaged so there are no creases or scratches. The bag itself is nice. However the ball of straw at the top makes it difficult to wrap the loop around it. The clasp needs to have a smooth surface or use a smooth metal clasp or a large faux pearl (like on other identical bags) or with a strong magnet or a clasp used on many top closure bags. I tried to push down the straw ball so it's easier to close. Tell your supplier about this issue.
The bag smells so horrible of toxic moth balls, I couldn’t even bring it in my house. My whole head hurt as soon as I opened it, and I had to wash my hands after touching it. It has been sitting outside for 24 hours and the smell is just as strong. I need a new one that doesn’t smell Iike this.
