Augustinus Bader describes The Hydrogel Face Mask as a revitalizing hydrogel mask that instantly hydrates, evens and plumps, and visibly reduces fine lines and wrinkles, built on its TFC8® technology. The brand names it for dull, dry or fatigued skin, and as an instant complexion reset before events or after a long week.
Among its benefits, the brand lists that it hydrates and locks in moisture for plump, smooth skin, helps to calm redness and irritation, and evens and illuminates for glowing skin. It names acetylated hyaluronic acid for moisture retention, a copper peptide it says firms, plumps and smooths, and niacinamide and allantoin among its calming ingredients.
The brand lists it as fragrance-free and vegan, and free from parabens, sulfates, silicones, phthalates and mineral oil. Its FAQ says it is formulated for all skin types, including sensitive, and recommends checking the ingredients and consulting your doctor if you have concerns.
What Augustinus Bader reports after one application
In a study of 35 men and women aged 35 to 70, half with self-perceived sensitive skin, the brand reports that after one application skin hydration improved by 95%, skin luminosity improved by 42%, skin was 58% smoother and skin redness and irritation reduced by 20%.
In a consumer study of 110 people aged 18 to 70, 92% agreed after one application that skin feels instantly hydrated and 82% agreed skin looks less tired. These are the brand's own figures.
How to use it
- Apply to clean, dry skin, starting with the top half of the mask and then the bottom.
- Leave on for 20 minutes, remove, and pat in the excess serum.
- Use 2 to 3 times per week, or as desired.
Augustinus Bader says the mask may go in the fridge right before use for extra cooling, but advises against the freezer.
In the brand's routine the mask comes after cleansing and toning, and before the serum and creams that follow it.
The line's other mask is the cream mask that can stay on overnight.

07/13/26 Seashell Handbag Hello, The bag itself is nice. However the ball of straw at the top makes it difficult to wrap the loop around it. The clasp needs to have a smooth surface or use a smooth metal clasp or a large faux pearl (like on other identical bags) or with a strong magnet or a clasp used on many top closure bags. I tried to push down the straw ball so it's easier to close. Tell your supplier about this issue.
The bag smells so horrible of toxic moth balls, I couldn’t even bring it in my house. My whole head hurt as soon as I opened it, and I had to wash my hands after touching it. It has been sitting outside for 24 hours and the smell is just as strong. I need a new one that doesn’t smell Iike this.

I accidently bought the wrong size I wear a size 9.5, but this is a size 8
Too big
These shoes were improperly size ranged. I am between a snug 6-1/2 and 7-ish depending on the shoe. I was too intimidated to order the smaller size seeing the 6– to 6-1/2 which 6 I am definitely not. So these 38’s are so huge I’ve inserted TWO inserts, and TWO Heel gels for each shoe and they are still hopelessly unwearable. I’m absolutely distraught. If you send me the smaller size I’m going to try to return these if you tell me how. Please send me the smaller pair.
